In a few hours, I will be heading down to the airport to board the plane that will be taking me to my destination for the next 10-months.
I can't believe this is really happening. I am so fortunate to have the support of my family and friends with my next adventure. Its terrifying to leave behind everything you know and put yourself in a new place, with new people, and step into an element that is unlike anything you've challenged before. This 10-month test will help me grow in so many ways.
I'm so thankful that Jason will be traveling back there with me. He has supported me throughout all of this and he continues to put his faith and support into me. I'm looking forward to this week of vacation for the both of us. We both have a lot of new adventures ahead of us this year. He will be traveling all over the place with his job and as will I! Although we may be miles apart, we always come back to one another, stronger than before :)
So here's to the last California post for 10-months. Next stop, Iowa! (Technically San Fran to Chicago, Chicago to Cedar Rapids, but who wants to be technical!)
